Lynn is a partner with the Matheson & Murray office and has practiced law since 1984.
While practicing in a variety of areas, Lynn's main areas of interest are Civil Litigation (with an emphasis on Insurance Defense), Labour & Employment and Administrative law. Lynn also acted as Arbitrator on a number of labour matters.
Lynn is past President of the Council of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island. She is a lecturer for the Bar Admissions Course on Discipline. Lynn previously held the position of Chair of the Prince Edward Island Labour Relations Board from 1988-1992 and has served as Chair of the Civil Litigation Section (P.E.I. Branch Canadian Bar Association) from 1993-2005 when she became secretary of the National CBA Civil Litigation Section.
Lynn has also been a speaker at various conferences and seminars, both in Prince Edward Island and outside of the province on a variety of topics, namely labour, litigation, mediation and insurance.
Lynn has also co-authored an article entitled "Judicial Recusal: 2005 Update on the Reasonable Apprehension of Bias Test", which was published in Annual Review of Civil Litigation 2005 (Toronto, Carswell, 2006)
